The town of Brest is located in Finistere, in Brittany, in the west of France. It counts nearly 143000 inhabitants. Tourism is very active in the area. The main activities to be practised are balneal tourism, sailing and many other water activities. The principal tourist sites of Brest are the garden of National Botanical Academy, the Tower Tanguy, the museum of strawberry and inheritance, the center of art footbridge, the church Saint-Louis, the national museum of the Navy. Brest is also famous for its gastronomy, taste the local specialities like the Breton far, Kouign Aman, the flat oysters of Belon, the wafers of Pont Aven, the Breton cider, the chouchen.
